I just returned from a great trip to Naples, Florida. Good friends, good food, good shopping, good wine, good beaches, etc. etc. The first night we went to eat and had some wine, of course. The second day the guys played golf and the girls went to the pool and the beach. That night we went on a little cruise and saw some gorgeous homes and met some nice people from Chicago. Next day the girls rented a 35 foot catamaran for the four of us and Captain Kelly Callahan. Such a nich host. His name is Cool Beans Cruises - he comes with high recommendations! Of course, we have no water in Midland. Went to shell island and picked up a bunch of shells - and oh did they stink after a couple of days in the room. i did get home with them though and am going, of course, to create something! Out to eat again and a little dancing. Next day shopping! Came across this little shop on 5th street called Dennison-Moran Gallery. They had the most adorable wire sculptures of fish, etc. on stands for the garden, etc. So many other great things too. One of my friends bought the polymer (I think) salt and pepper shakers. They have things from about 150 artists. Loved the magnetic boards, salt and pepper shakers, wind chimes and so much more. www.dennisonmorangallery.com - visit and let me know what you think! i always need one more day! came home on sunday and its always good to get back but......the beach and water are wonderful! I will post pictures soon. do i always say that and never do? thanks for all of your comments and support! you are all great and i - oh oh oh I almost forgot. I have 5 of my bottles at "the" local wine store. I hope they are enjoying the bottles as much as we are on my kitchen counters! later.....
